Salcombe Gin ‘Start Point’

Salcombe was once a port of choice for smugglers. It’s now the home to one of the UK’s most exciting gin distilleries. Two friends came together over a love of gin and decided to draw inspiration from the ingredients imported via the coastal town’s old trading ships. Their Start Point gin is a delicious result. Each sip is rich and full, with notes of juniper and fresh red grapefruit, and citrus spice from English coriander seed and cubeb. There’s also a subtle savoury tone from bay leaf, balanced by a touch of sweetness from liquorice root. Serve this with a slice of grapefruit and your favourite tonic.
