• The company will not supply alcohol to any person until it has been verified that the person is over 18 years of age.
• That no parcels will be left by the courier if the person at the delivery address is believed to be under 18 years of age.

1. Purchase Contract

 

• All purchases made on this web site are governed by these Terms and Conditions. The Terms and Conditions governing any purchase will be those in effect at the date of your order. We reserve the right at our sole discretion to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. If you order goods after we have published any changes you will be bound by those changes. Accordingly, you should check prior to each order to ensure that you understand the precise terms and conditions applicable to your purchase. To assist you in determining whether the Terms and Conditions have changed since your most recent order we will display the date when these Terms and Conditions were most recently updated.
• We will confirm receipt of your order as soon as possible by e-mail, to the e-mail address you provided to us. Our acceptance of your order will take place upon dispatch of the good(s) ordered and at this point the purchase contract will be made. We will supply the goods to you in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

 

2. Pricing and Availability

 

• The prices quoted on our web site are indicative/guide prices only.
• All prices are quoted including VAT. Where applicable, VAT will be shown on all invoices.
• Prices are liable to change without prior notice and are a guide only.
• Please check the dates of availability of any offers before purchasing.
• Goods are subject to availability and prevailing market conditions. We may limit the quantities of
• goods (particularly goods on special offer) supplied to any one customer.
• Descriptions of goods and prices of Goods should only be used as a guide and Liquor Library reserves the right to vary them without notice.

 

3. Delivery

 

• Please note that Liquor Library uses DPD as its Delivery Partner for ‘standard’ deliveries and Parcelforce as its Delivery Partner for any ‘next day’ orders.
• Delivery will be made to the address specified by you when you checkout on the web site.
• Delivery will be made only to an adult aged 18 years or over.
• It is your responsibility to ensure that an appropriate person is available at the delivery address
• at all times during the agreed date and time. All goods must be signed for on delivery by an adult aged 18 years or over. We reserve the right to refuse delivery to any party who appears to be under the age of 25 and cannot produce proof of age and checks will be made by our delivery partners at every instance of doubt.
• Liquor Library will make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated lead time, however Liquor Library shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the goods within estimated lead times. The estimated delivery lead time will start on the first full working day, usually the day after you first place your order. Liquor Library will not be held liable for any delivery or collection slots discussed directly with our courier partners. Liquor Library reserves the right to make partial deliveries when required to do so.
• Risk of loss and damage of goods passes to you on the date when the goods are delivered or on the date of first attempted delivery by our courier partner. If Liquor Library attempts to deliver and such an attempted delivery is not possible due to your refusal to accept the goods, for whatever
• reason, you will only receive a refund equaling the amount paid at the time of the purchase for the goods.
• Weekends and bank holidays are not included within the estimated lead time. Large quantity orders may take a little longer to deliver due to the volume.

• Whilst Liquor Library and our courier partners will use their reasonable endeavors to deliver goods within any stated timeframe, in using this service you acknowledge and agree that any delivery windows provided are estimates of delivery times for indicative purposes only and we cannot guarantee the timescales for delivery of goods within such windows. Time of delivery shall not be of the essence. Liquor Library accepts no liability for delays in delivery caused by the use of third party delivery services.
• Three attempts to deliver will be made by our courier partners. Thereafter they will hold the parcel for up to seven days (or such other period as they may reasonably determine) following which our courier partners shall return the goods to Liquor Library.
• Liquor Library may ask you to provide photographic evidence of your delivery in order to resolve any issues. You may also be asked to dispose of certain goods, safely, in accordance with Liquor Library’s instructions.
• Supply of goods by Liquor Library is subject to availability. In the event that Liquor Library is unable to supply goods, we will inform you of this as soon as possible and will either issue a full refund or provide an alternative if instructed.
• As a signature is required upon delivery our courier partner may attempt to leave your parcel at a premises near your delivery address if no one is available to sign for the parcel at your address, usually a neighbor.
• In the rare event of an error with your order, Liquor Library may need to carry out a full investigation with our dispatch team or delivery partner. This investigation can take up to 72 working hours. At the end of this time Liquor Library will share the conclusion and offer a resolution on how the issue will be proceeded with.
• All alcohol must be checked off at time of delivery and queries reported to Liquor Library immediately. No discrepancies will be entertained if such goods are not checked off at time of delivery.
• All goods remain the property of Liquor Library until payment has been made in full and received in full by Liquor Library.
• All International orders to outside of the UK are at the risk of the customer and any duty or import obligations / fees sit entirely with the receiving party.

 

4. Order Error

 

• In the event that your order is incorrect or short delivered, please notify Liquor Library via email to in**@**************co.uk within 72 hours of receiving your delivery.

 

5. Returns

1. Cancellations: At any time before the first attempted delivery you may right to cancel your order. Please notify us by email if you wish to cancel your order via in**@**************co.uk

 

• Unwanted: Liquor Library will only issue a refund for goods returned in fully re-saleable condition within 14 working days together with your Liquor Library receipt for the purchased goods. The following must be intact for Liquor Library to deem the goods as fully re-saleable:
  • transport packaging
  • original product packaging
  • seals, shrink wrap, and airshock carrier where applicable
• If the goods are not in a re-saleable condition, as determined by Liquor Library acting reasonably, Liquor Library reserves the right to refuse any return. If you have not returned the goods within 7 days of cancellation or when reasonably requested to do so by Liquor Library, whichever occurs first, your refund request will be closed. Liquor Library can collect the goods from you at your cost, the charge for collection is £4.95 (inc VAT) and any non-faulty goods must comply with these terms. Please do not return goods to us in person.
• Damages: You must report any goods that are damaged/missing on delivery within 72 hours to the Liquor Library customer services via email to in**@**************co.uk. Liquor Library will not be held liable for any goods that are damaged/missing reported outside of this time. You should inspect goods on delivery for damage. We reserve the right to request photographic evidence to support any claims of damages.
• Corked and Spoiled: Please notify Liquor Library via email to  in**@**************co.uk if you should find that any product is corked or spoiled.
• If you do not return any order to Liquor Library after the refund has been issued within the agreed time scale, you will be liable for the cost of the product at time of purchase.

 

6. Payment

 

• Liquor Library will take payment from you via its secure payment system at the time Liquor Library dispatches your order. In the event that Liquor Library is unable to supply goods, we will inform you of this as soon as possible.
• Liquor Library may undertake appropriate payment security checks during the order process via third party databases. By placing an order and thus accepting these terms and conditions you consent to such checks being made. In performing these checks personal information provided by you may be disclosed to a third party which may keep a record of that information. This will only be done securely and any data processing will be undertaken strictly in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
• The debit and credit cards accepted by us are those listed on the web site on the date on which your order is placed.
• You agree to compensate us in full against all reasonable costs expenses and outgoings incurred by us in obtaining payments from you in the event a failed payment occurs. This will include an administration charge of not less than £20. We may at any time after a failed payment has occurred ask a debt collection agency to collect payment from you.

 

7. Availability of Service

 

• The service may be unavailable at certain times to allow Liquor Library to maintain and upgrade the website. Although Liquor Library will always endeavor to inform customers in advance of any service unavailability, this cannot be guaranteed. Liquor Library reserves the right to alter or withdraw the service at any time and also reserve the right to refuse the service to any customer without giving a reason.

• Liquor Library will not be deemed to be in breach of contract or of these Terms and Conditions as a result of any delay in our performance or failure to perform our obligations if that delay or failure to perform is due to any cause or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including, but not limited to, fire, flood and other acts of God, pandemics, strikes, riot, accident, disruption to energy supplies, civil commotion, acts of terrorism or war, breakdown of equipment, road traffic problems.
• Other than as set out above, our maximum liability arising out of any order for the supply of goods to you under these Terms and Conditions will be limited to the price of the goods contained in that order.
• Under no circumstances will Liquor Library be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including but not limited to;- loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill or reputation and loss of business.
• Liquor Library is constantly monitoring and checking the information on this website while we will use reasonable endeavors to verify the accuracy of any information we place on the website, we make no warranties, whether express or implied in relation to its accuracy. We would advise you to check the label or product packaging, prior to use.
