The Dalmore 12 Year Old stands as a testament to intricate maturation techniques. Initially aged for 9 years in ex-bourbon casks, this single malt whisky then embarks on a distinctive journey. Half of the spirit rests for an additional 3 years in Oloroso sherry butts, while the other half continues to mature in bourbon casks. These two halves are masterfully brought together, resulting in a harmonious symphony of flavours.
