Tarquins Twin Fin Spiced Rum

Released in May 2020, this spiced rum is the first from Tarquin’s Distillery – which was Cornwall’s first distillery in 100 years when it opened in 2012 – and is made with a blend of a Jamaican pot still rum and Dominican Republic column still rum. Founder Tarquin Leadbetter describes the spirit as, ‘a rum for the beach; zesty, tropical and liberally spiced’. Orange and vanilla sit alongside other botanicals in a secret spice recipe, which was born in and is distilled in Cornwall. This recipe is then blended with the rum alongside some Pedro Ximenez sherry, before the resulting liquid is rested on charred oak chips.
