Lot 40 is made at Hiram Walker Distillery in Canada, one of the largest spirits producers in North America.
Lot No. 40’s use of 100% rye is unusual in modern whisky production as the flavoursome grain is difficult to process. The whisky showcases rye’s complexities by using new, charred American oak barrels for maturation.
It is a rich, fruity Canadian whisky with plenty of winter spice flavours, crafted using 100% rye grains to showcase the true complexities of rye whisky from Canada.
Amazingly complex with notes of rye bread, pepper and soft spice along with rich vanilla, elegant citrus and ripe orchard fruits.
Lot No. 40 can be enjoyed neat to experience the true flavour of rye whisky. It is also bold enough to be mixed into classic or refreshing cocktails.
