Founded in 2012, Karma Drinks set out to give back to the communities responsible for the original cola recipes which seem to be forgotten in the Western world today. With a bag of cola nuts sent from Boma in Sierra Leone, they made their first bottles. Karma Drinks have since established their pledge to pay a fair wage to those communities who grow their ingredients and provide support and employment through the Karma Foundation. The name is rooted in the concept that everyone who buys their drinks fairly supports those who grow the ingredients. Lemons weren’t known for their luck – until Lemony came along.
