A velvety soft, sweet 12 year old single malt from the Glengoyne distillery, an entirely unpeated whisky, this Glengoyne is soft, fruity and very drinkable. A superb malt indeed! 20% 1st fill European Oak Sherry, 20% 1st Fill American Oak Bourbon, 60% Quality Oak casks. The nose has lemon zest, honey and coconut. The palate is rich with toffee fudge, orange, ginger and warming cinnamon being a long and oily finish, with hints of shortbread lingering.Â
