The twin founders of Double Dutch, Joyce and Raissa were raised in the Netherlands and so have a brilliant natural affinity with superlative drinks and excellent blendings. After all, they come from the birthplace of gin! Double Dutch began by brightening the very top of the quinine flavour with a hint of pink grapefruit, before deppening the lower notes with a subtle hint of juniper berry. In doing so they have rounded out the angularlity of quinine and lengthened the finish of the tonic, reducing the bitter after-taste which can put some people off. Aroma – Delicate and soft with a slightly fruity finish.
