In the northern Médoc, at Château La Hourcade, three generations follow one another during the harvest. A property without a gate, with structured wines whose history is rooted in the village. To the eye, a deep and clear garnet hue. This is followed by a very pretty nose of red and black fruits, supported by a fine vanilla note. On the palate, the attack is straightforward, with silky tannins and a persistent finish. Finally, pleasant notes of roasted coffee are finally detected. It can be enjoyed young, but letting it age will only allow it to improve.
